Since it's been snowing all day and I'm homebound, I decided to give myself a presence on the web. Frankly, I'd rather be working on my stories. I have plenty to keep me busy: a contemporary short story, a horror story for next Halloween, 2 historical novellas (14th & early 20th century), a very long historical novella called The Pyramid of Nepensiret (you can read a condensed version of the final part in December's Wilde Oats: "Moonrise over the Nile"), not to mention all the unfinished pieces I've temporarily put on a back burner.
I also have to start planning for the Gay Romance Authors & Publishers Retreat in New Orleans this coming October. It'll be my first, and I'm very excited about going and hope to meet some of my readers there. You, maybe? That I've been writing for 6 years, publishing for 5, and only got around to putting a site together today shows how clueless I am when it comes to promotion, hence the need to plan ahead... way ahead.
Over the next few days, I'll post information about my published works, one at a time -- excerpts, reviews, covers, etc. I'll also natter a bit about my current projects, what I'm reading, what's on my mind, and I'll answer your questions, too, if you have any. (I'm trying to figure out what to put on this blog now that I have one.) I've been interviewed twice so far, on Blue Moon and Raine Delight's Book Nook. Maybe you have some follow-up questions?
Congrats on the new blog! It looks classy! I love the eyecandy! I need to find me a pretty for mine!
ReplyDeleteAt last! An Anel Viz blog! About time, old friend. :-)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! Oh, this is like a housewarming party when a friend moves into a new house. Only..only...none of MY friends have gorgeous naked men lounging so languidly in the front door as YOUR new home has. I love him!
ReplyDeleteLove your blog, Anel! Enjoy it, my friend! You did well!
Going back now to stare at the lovely man in the banner....

ReplyDeleteAll these comments... already. Can't remember where I found the ying-yang, L.C. (Or is it a yang-yang?)

Lovely blog, great first post, Anel.
ReplyDeletei was reading the excerpt of Petit Cadeau. I have to praise your mastery of telling a story. It is a great one. Once I would have time I would read more other excerpts. I can not buy any books at this moment for personal reasons.
